Dynabrade Polishing Pads & Foams

Polishing Pads are mostly used for more intense rotary polishing operations, allowing for the restoration of old, worn, and weathered paint surfaces to high-gloss polished Chrome and aluminum components.
Polishing Foams are mostly used to provide a finishing touch by eliminating minor imperfections and leaving a high-gloss, hologram-free surface. The reticulated cell structure of the foams keeps the compound inside, minimizing polish material consumption while leaving the lowest amount of compound to wipe off.
The appropriate compound paired with the right pad or foam allows you to reach the best results in the shortest amount of time and with the lowest amount of product usage.
Polishing Pads
- Terry Cloth: This is the most abrasive Polishing Pad available. It is used to polish Chrome and Aluminum components close to a mirror-like finish.
- Sheepskin: Less abrasive than the Terry Cloth pad, the sheepskin pad is ideal to revive old, hard and worn surfaces.
- Synthetic Wool: Softer than Sheepskin, it can be used to polish worn and dull painted surfaces and plastics.
- Microfiber: The softest Polishing Pad. It’s the perfect pad to remove small defects on paints, plastics and clearcoats.

Cylindrical Reticulated Polishing Foams
Dynabrade’s Cylindrical Reticulated Polishing Foams are our high-performance pineapple-shaped foams. Perfect to use for Rotary Polishing Applications, their ergonomic design help to avoid compound splattering during the operation. The outer foam diameter is always superior to the backing pad diameter in sort of the backing pad cannot touch the surface you are working on. These Polishing Foams are all 25 mm thick with a radius edge and are available in various densities: hard (grey), medium (blue) and soft (black).
Conical Reticulated Polishing Foams
Dynabrade’s Conical Reticulated Polishing Foams are slightly different than the cylindrical ones. They are also built in a pineapple shape and offer great performance for Random Orbital Polishing applications and their oversized conical diameter. With a 20 mm thickness, these Polishing Foams are available in 4 densities - hard (grey), hard/medium (green), medium/soft (blue) and soft (black) – that help reach hologram free results. Finally, these Polishing Foams can have a hole in the center to reduce friction during an eccentric movement.
